Tinkergarten Fall Wellness - Second Half Season

This fall, our focus skill is Wellness. Using the Tinkergarten curriculum, we will help kids develop language, strategies and habits that help build strong bodies, minds and hearts. As always, creatures will be our teachers, and the magical, shifting autumn landscape will be our inspiration.

Classes are for children ages 1-8 with a caring adult. Classes meet Wednesdays 9:30-10:45 at Big Cottonwood Regional Park Trailhead.

Every class, you can expect the following:

• An opening circle featuring song, movement, and community-building
• Learning about a new "featured creature"
• An exciting invitation for child-led play using the thoughtfully-created Tinkergarten curriculum
• A closing circle including gratitude, a read-aloud, and saying goodbye to our friends
• Opportunities for grown-up learning and community-building

All participants are required to complete a waiver prior to participating. Waivers will be emailed prior to the first class and will also be provided on-site.

Location details:  From Murray Holladay Rd, turn North onto S 1590 E. There is a “Dead End” sign. Drive all the way to the end of the road (past the playground on the right). You will see a baseball diamond that has been converted to a dog park on the left. Park here. The trailhead is at the very end of the road. Follow the trail around the curve and we will meet in the big field.
