Tinkergarten Summer 2024

Each season at Tinkergarten, we help children to develop one of our 8 core skills kids need to become curious, capable learners who can contribute to their world.  This summer, we focus on our Senses! Our senses are central to how we experience the world, how we behave, and how we learn. Our curriculum is designed to help each child strengthen and balance their senses in the most stimulating and soothing classroom of all—the great outdoors.

Our summer session will meet at 10:00am on the following dates:

• Monday 7/08
• Wednesday 7/10
• Monday 7/15
• Wednesday 7/17
• Monday 7/22
• Wednesday 7/24

*A limited number of 4-class packs are available to provide flexibility for busy summer schedules.*

Every class, you can expect the following:

• An opening circle featuring song, movement, and animal learning
• An exciting invitation for child-led, nature-inspired play
• A closing circle including gratitude, a read-aloud, and saying goodbye to our friends
• Opportunities for grown-up learning and community-building

All enrolled explorers will earn their Sensory badge at the final class on 7/24.

Tinkergarten classes are for children ages 1-8 with a caring adult. Adults must be present and engaged for the duration of class. Infant siblings may attend free of charge. Ages are a guideline; if you have a child outside of the age range who would like to attend, please reach out! All participants are required to complete a waiver prior to participating. Scholarship Program:  Grow Outside Nature Play is pleased to provide the opportunity for more families to participate in Tinkergarten. A limited number of partial scholarships are available.
