Play outside this spring with
This spring, our focus skill is Creativity! We’ll activate our imaginations and practice the building blocks of creativity as we break, bend and blend objects found in the most creative studio of all — nature.

Kids are born creative, and that natural creativity tends to lessen as they grow and the world demands the “right answer.” And yet, creativity will be essential for our children more than any generation before. Good news! Early, open-ended playful experiences designed to promote the building blocks of creativity can help preserve and even strengthen that natural superpower.
Classes are for children ages 1-8 with a caring adult and meet once a week for 7 weeks beginning April 10th. Classes meet Wednesdays at 10:30 at Big Cottonwood Regional Park near the Outer Loop Trailhead. Exact meeting location instructions will be provided prior to class.

Every class, you can expect the following:
-
An opening circle featuring song, movement, and community-building
-
An exciting invitation for child-led, nature-inspired play
-
A closing circle including gratitude, a read-aloud, and saying goodbye to our friends
-
Opportunities for grown-up learning and community-building
