Play outside this summer with
This Summer, our curriculum is designed to help each child strengthen and balance their senses in the most stimulating and soothing classroom of all—the great outdoors. Our curriculum will help kids foster each of their senses, activate multiple senses at once and offer approaches to support each child’s unique sensory system.

Senses are central to how kids experience the world, how they behave, and how they learn. While most kids crave sensory engagement, unfortunately they don't always get it. More and more, teachers and parents are noticing that young bodies are crying out for more of what their developing sensory systems need. Good news! Nature truly is the ideal, sensory environment—calming, constantly changing, and stimulating to all of our senses, in perfect balance.

Classes are for children ages 1-8 with a caring adult. Our summer session will meet for 6 classes over a three-week period in July. Classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00am at Big Cottonwood Regional Park - Holladay Lions Area. Exact meeting location instructions will be provided prior to class.

Every class, you can expect the following:
-
An opening circle featuring song, movement, and community-building
-
An exciting invitation for child-led, nature-inspired play
-
A closing circle including gratitude, a read-aloud, and saying goodbye to our friends
-
Opportunities for grown-up learning and community-building

Grow Outside Nature Play also offers pop-up classes and playdates throughout the season. Check out our upcoming events and subscribe to our mailing list to stay in the loop!
